START York is one of our international chapters founded by Leedan Cohen. Currently, START York operates from York University in Toronto. 

 

The program entails groups of about 8 university students leading hands-on science modules for a class of elementary school students in Toronto. The hands-on activities are conducted with one “START Leader” at each table of 3-4 students, allowing for more individualized attention.
